A training session titled “Customs Practices in International Transportation” was delivered by Dr. Nil Sirel Öztürk Faculty Member at the Department of Customs Management, Trakya University, on May 16, 2025, at the Hopa Chamber of Commerce and Industry Assembly Hall.
The training covered topics such as customs controls , risk analysis and field inspections, challenges in transit transportation and practical solutions, transit regime violations, penalties, and anti-smuggling measures. . Participants gained comprehensive insights into current customs processes through case-based discussions and examples from practice.
